Description :

Appelant bien conservé avec tête restaurée. Le corps rond est constitué d'une planche d'environ 5,5 cm d'épaisseur. La queue est représentée par une entaille en retrait du corps. La tête est relativement importante et lourde par rapport au corps. L’extrémité du bec est cassée. La tête et le corps sont peints en noir. Avec l’usage et le temps, les pores du bois se sont remplis de poussière grisant ainsi la couleur noire du corps. Les ailes et le dessous de la queue sont peints en blancs, le bec en rouge vif, et les yeux en jaune. Sur le dessous, à l’arrière est fixé un fil de fer fin de 28 cm de long qui enserre à son extrémité une mince plaque de fer comme lest. La tête est équilibrée. Dessous l’appelant il y a un trou d'environ 2 cm de diamètre dans le prolongement du cou, dans lequel la tête d'origine était chevillée.

Duck decoy well preserved with restored head. The round body consists of a board approximately 5.5 cm thick. The tail is represented by a notch set back from the body. The head is relatively large and heavy compared to the body. The tip of the beak is broken. The head and body are painted black. With use and time, the pores of the wood have filled with dust, making the body black color. The wings and underside of the tail are painted white, the beak bright red, and the eyes yellow. On the underside, at the back is attached a 28 cm long fine wire which encloses at its end a thin plate of iron as ballast. The head is balanced. Below calling it there is a hole about 2 cm in diameter in the prolongation of the neck, in which the original head was pegged.
